Randstad has been exclusively retained by a leading national infrastructure and civil consultancy to secure a Senior Civil Construction Project Manager (Advisory Consultant) for their expanding advisory practice.
Our client bridges the gap between client strategy and practical construction reality.
They advise state government departments, major developers, and tier-1 contractors on large-scale civil projects across Australia.
This exclusive role is designed for a site-tested Project Manager who wants to step back from day-to-day site operations and apply their hands-on delivery expertise to high-level strategic advisory.
Key Responsibilities
Constructability & Delivery Advisory: Provide expert guidance on construction methodologies, staging, site logistics, and risk mitigation during project planning, procurement, and design phases.
Client Representation:
Serve as a trusted advisor to asset owners and government bodies, helping oversee project performance, quality, and contractual compliance.
Commercial & Project Controls: Evaluate project budgets, schedules, cost-to-complete forecasts, variations, and claims using direct site experience to judge constructability and commercial validity.
Peer Reviews & Audits: Lead independent technical and project delivery reviews across major civil works (roads, earthworks, bridges, utilities, and heavy civil infrastructure).
Strategic Stakeholder Management: Translate complex site realities into transparent, executive-level insights for non-technical stakeholders, technical design teams, and client boards.
