is seeking a reliable and motivated
Trade Assistant
to join our growing team in
Kalgoorlie
.
This is a
full-time residential position
, suited to applicants who already live in Kalgoorlie or are willing to relocate.
This is
not a FIFO role
.
Working alongside our experienced tradespeople, you'll support mechanical maintenance and repair work across a variety of sites while developing your skills in a safety-focused setting.
About the Role
As a Trade Assistant, you will:
Assist qualified tradespeople with mechanical maintenance and repairs.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Complete general workshop duties and housekeeping.
Load, unload and organise materials and equipment.
Carry out manual handling and labouring tasks.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Work as part of a supportive and professional team.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
Forklift, Working at Heights or Confined Space tickets are advantageous but not essential.
The ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening required.
