The NBMLHD Aboriginal Traineeship Program combines on‐the‐job experience with formal study delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), enabling trainees to complete a nationally recognised qualification while gaining practical skills.
This program aligns with NSW Health's Aboriginal Workforce Strategic Framework *********, which emphasises the importance of building a strong, skilled and culturally supported Aboriginal workforce across the health system.
