About the role
This is a hands-on manufacturing position producing fibreglass and carbon-fibre products for underground mining customers across Queensland and New South Wales.
Your duties may include:
Preparing moulds, materials and work areas
Cutting and preparing fibreglass materials
Laminating, grinding, sanding, assembling and finishing products
Safely using hand and power tools
Completing required production and quality checks
Working with your team to meet daily production targets
Following documented processes and safety requirements
Maintaining clean, organised and standardised work areas
Learning different production processes and building practical skills
The work can be physical, repetitive and messy.
It requires attention to detail, safe work practices and the ability to maintain quality throughout the day.
We provide clear instructions and practical training, but we also expect each team member to contribute, ask questions and take responsibility for learning the role.

Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport
Experience in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, labouring or a trade environment would be helpful, but demonstrated reliability, a driver's licence and the right attitude are more important.
Hours and employment
This is initially a casual position offering approximately
38 hours per week
, with the opportunity to be considered for permanent employment after a successful three-month period.
Standard working hours:
Monday to Thursday:
7:00 am–3:30 pm
Friday:
7:00 am–1:00 pm
Overtime may be available when production requirements allow.
