FIFO Utility/Bus Drivers
to deliver safe, high-quality services across our remote mining villages.
This is a dynamic, hands-on,
multi-skilled role combining bus driving with a broad range of utility duties
, including cleaning, housekeeping, kitchen support and general village services.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is willing to work across different departments and thrives in a quick-paced FIFO environment.
Please note that this is not a dedicated bus-driving position.
Successful applicants must be willing and able to regularly undertake cleaning, housekeeping, kitchenhand and other general utility duties as required.
WA Driver's Licence is essential

The Role:
Join our FIFO team - 2:1 roster from Perth.
Bus driving + utility role.

As a Utility/Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth daily operation of the village.
Your duties will include:
Safely transporting residents, staff and visitors around the site
Operating 50+ seater buses in accordance with site and fatigue-management requirements
Cleaning residents' rooms, including making beds, changing linen, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms
Cleaning shared facilities, offices, crib rooms, laundries, ablution blocks and other common areas
Completing housekeeping duties and maintaining accommodation areas to a high standard
Supporting kitchen and catering operations, including food preparation, dishwashing and cleaning dining areas
Assisting with dining-room service and maintaining clean and presentable meal-service areas
Completing laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding and distributing linen where required
Undertaking waste collection, bin management and general upkeep of village facilities
Restocking cleaning products, amenities, linen and other supplies
Following cleaning schedules, hygiene procedures and infection-control requirements
Supporting other village departments and completing general utility duties as operationally required
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, presentation and customer service
You will be a key contributor to maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all site personnel.
Role Requirements:
Valid HR Licence, at a minimum, with experience driving large buses with 50 or more seats
WA Driver's Licence –
essential
A strong commitment to safety and compliance, including HSEQ requirements
Forklift Licence
RSA Certificate
Current National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including laboratory drug and alcohol testing (LABDAS) –
essential
Experience working as an all-rounder, kitchenhand, cleaner and/or housekeeper
A genuine willingness to undertake regular cleaning, housekeeping,
kitchen and general utility duties
Ability to work night shifts when required
Previous experience working in a similar remote location
Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and time-sensitive environment
Good knowledge of and commitment to safe working practices
Physical fitness and the ability to carry out moderate to heavy duties
Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
