About Us
Climb Toowoomba is Toowoomba's local indoor climbing facility, focusing on bouldering and community.
As we keep growing, we're looking for a hands-on Venue Manager to be the face of Climb Toowoomba, to take charge of daily operations and help drive the gym forward.
If you love taking responsibility, improving how things run, and leading by example, this role is for you.
The Role
As Gym Manager, you'll keep the facility running smoothly, lead our small team, support our members, and help grow the business.
You'll work closely with the owners while taking full ownership of day-to-day gym life.
What You'll Do
* Daily Operations: Keep the gym running seamlessly, safely, and cleanly every day.
* Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and work beside our coaching, route setting and floor staff.
* Work floor shifts in the gym, get to know our members and build relationships.
* Member Support: Handle memberships, billing, and member questions, making sure everyone feels welcome.
* Gym Systems: Manage member software (Capitan), rosters, and basic weekly reports.
* Events & Setting: Work with the setting team on route schedules, coaching staff with youth programs,



and run community events.
* Retail & Marketing: Keep retail stock organized and help out with local social media and promos.
About You
* A Natural Leader: You lead by example, motivate your team, and keep people accountable.
* Organized & Reliable: You can manage your time, prioritize what matters, and solve problems without needing to be micromanaged.
* People Person: You deliver great customer service and build robust connections with members.
* Tech Capable: You're comfortable with computers and quick to pick up new software.
Bonus Points For
* Experience in climbing, fitness, or recreation
* Experience using Capitan
* Current First Aid & CPR certifications
* Valid Working With Children Check
* Basic social media or marketing skills

This role is Full Time monday to friday usually working 1pm - 9pm but may be flexable for the right person.
