The Salvation Army Reintegration Service
The Salvation Army Reintegration Service provides short term housing and other support for people reintegrating into the community following their release from prison.
This position involves the one-on-one case management of allocated clients ensuring support throughout their initial reintegration into the community.
It will include working closely with Community Probations and other government and community organizations.
The successful candidate will:
Have the ability to work in a team environment
Have the positive personal relationship skills
Have previous experience in handling crises
Have an ability to monitor and oversight programme
Have a willingness to work from a bicultural perspective, having an awareness and understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi
Have a strong sense of social justice
Have a commitment to the mission and values of the Salvation Army
Have a current First Aid certificate
Have a current full drivers licence
Have experience in facilitating programmes that assist people towards improved wellbeing

Hour of work:
Permanent part- time 20 hours per week

Monday to Friday (or as required)
The hourly rate will be between $30 - $33 per hour
