About The Role
We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse with scrub experience to join our clinical team on a part time basis with a minimum 52 hours per fortnight.
Monday to Friday roster, no weekends, no on-call and no public holidays.
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
Support the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient careProvide exceptional clinical and theatre support from the patients admission, scrub, through to recovery and the multiple theatre visits.Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgeryEnsure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focusMonitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complicationsDeliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
You will have:
Seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse suited to a fast paced environment Experience in Day Surgery admissions, Discharge and Scrub desirableExceptional interpersonal and communication skills Current Registration with AHPRA Experience in the below specialties highly desirableExperienced GP Practice Nurses with skin lesion excision experience encouraged to applyYou must be eligible to work in Australia – visa application sponsorship's are not available for this position

Mount Hawthorn Day Hospital in Perth WA is a Class B accredited day hospital with 4 Operating Theatres, which specialises in Mohs Surgery, General Dermatology and Vasectomy services.
All of our patients walk in and out of theatre and whilst we have restricted patient numbers, the patients have multiple visits to surgery per day resulting in a fast paced but rewarding environment.
