We are looking for a confident and experienced Senior Sales Assistant to join our vibrant Gift Market team at Tropical Fruit World.
Our Gift Market showcases a curated range of products inspired by the farm itself - from artisan food products and avocado skincare to gifts, homewares and locally inspired merchandise.
Many of the products we sell are grown, harvested and created from produce on the farm, giving visitors the opportunity to take a piece of Tropical Fruit World home with them.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, enjoys customer connection, and can confidently step into a leadership role when needed.
It is a hands-on senior retail role suited to someone with strong customer service experience, leadership capability, and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
Position Details
Casual position with opportunity to become permanent part-time
Thursday to Saturday roster with flexibility
$35 per hour
Opportunity to grow within an iconic tourism and retail destination
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and visitor experiences
Assist with day-to-day retail and customer care operations
Support the Retail Manager with team supervision and leadership
Open and close the store independently when required
Maintain high visual merchandising and presentation standards
Assist with inventory management, stock control and replenishment
Process sales, online orders and customer enquiries confidently




Support ecommerce processes
Work with Shopify including order management, inventory updates and fulfilment
Handle customer care enquiries both in person and online
Assist with general duties to support smooth daily operations
What We're Looking For
Previous retail, customer service or supervisor experience
Shopify experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, organised and reliable attitude
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Confidence working independently and supporting a team
Strong attention to detail and presentation
Availability to work Thursday, Friday and Saturdays
