An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead the opening of our brand-new service in Clear Island Waters.
Licensed for 130 children, this current centre presents a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader who is motivated by building high-performing teams, establishing strong operational foundations, and creating an exceptional learning environment from the ground up.
We are seeking a confident and inspiring leader with excellent people management skills, a collaborative approach, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

As Centre Director, you will have the opportunity to build and lead a brand-new team while fostering a positive and inclusive culture for children, families, and educators.
You will be supported by an experienced Area Manager and dedicated Support Management Team, allowing you to operate autonomously while having access to ongoing mentorship and professional guidance.
This hands-on leadership role combines strategic centre management with active engagement in the day-to-day life of the service.
You will be responsible for leading and developing your team, ensuring compliance and quality outcomes, and building strong, positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the local community to establish a thriving and connected learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & OperationsOversee the day-to-day operations of the centre including staffing, enrolments, budgets and complianceLead recruitment and support the ongoing professional development of educatorsDrive the delivery of high-quality education and careFoster a collaborative,



supportive and positive team cultureDay to day centre ManagementUphold and promote the company's values and philosophyEnsure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirementsBuild strong relationships with families and community stakeholdersPromote a culture focused on safety, wellbeing and child-first practicesAdministration & QualityMaintain Quality Assurance and accreditation standardsImplement VEYLDF and ensure adherence to NQF and NQS frameworksMaintain accurate documentation, reporting and compliance records
About You
We are looking for a confident and inspiring leader who brings:
4+ years' previous experience as a Centre DirectorA Diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education (ACECQA approved)Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, NQS and Child Safe StandardsExcellent leadership, communication and mentoring skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesExperience using Owna and Microsoft Office Suites
