MPU / Blast Crew Operators – Tier One Iron Ore Expansion Project Early–Mid September Start | 8:6 / 7:7 Roster | 12-Month Project
We are currently seeking experienced MPU Operators and Blast Crew Operators
to join a major Tier One Iron Ore Expansion Project
commencing in early to mid-September.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure 12 months of ongoing work
on a high-profile iron ore operation with a strong safety culture and long-term project stability.
About the Role Working as part of an established Drill & Blast team, you will be responsible for supporting safe and efficient blasting activities across a large-scale iron ore operation.
Candidates must have proven experience in production mining environments and a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Requirements MPU Operators
Minimum 5 years' experience
operating MPUs in a mining environment.
Extensive experience in drill and blast operations.
Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC).
Current Dangerous Goods Driver's Licence.
Solid understanding of safety, environmental, and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices and teamwork.
Current and relevant mining licences, tickets, and certifications.
Ability to meet site medical and onboarding requirements.
Blast Crew Operators Experience working within drill and blast operations
in a production mining environment.
Strong understanding of blast crew activities, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
Commitment to maintaining high safety standards and working effectively within a team.
Current and relevant mining tickets, licences, and certifications.
Ability to meet site medical and onboarding requirements.
