Job Description
DUBB WALL&CEILING; PTY LTD We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our team on residential projects.
You'll be responsible for plasterboard layout, cutting, positioning and fixing panels to walls and ceilings, along with installing insulation and vapour barriers.
The role includes fitting corner beads, cornices, mouldings and ceiling centres, and finishing joins with wet plaster and sanding to a smooth surface.
You will also mix and apply plaster, cement and render, level and smooth coats to a uniform finish, plumb and straighten surfaces, and create decorative textures where needed.
Applying acoustic, insulating and fireproofing materials is also required.

and correct handling of materials and dust Applying decorative textures to finishing coats Working out plasterboard layouts and fitting insulation and vapour barriers beforehand Straightening and plumbing corners, angles, walls and ceilings Cutting, measuring and marking plasterboard, then lifting, positioning and fixing panels to ceilings, walls and battens Bonding acoustic, insulating and fireproofing materials using plaster, plastic cement and similar compounds Shaping corner beads and fixing them into place Sealing nail holes and joins with wet plaster and finishing compounds, then smoothing with wet brushes and sandpaper Attaching pre-cast cornices, ceiling centres, panel mouldings and other decorative plaster fittings Qualification & experience Proven experience of more than 1 year Sound knowledge of relevant building codes, materials and industry standards Experience operating hand and power tools relevant to the trade Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred) White Card Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
