Chefs

Cooks
to join our dynamic kitchen team in Campbell, ACT.
This can be a full-time and part time position offering the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise in a professional hospitality environment.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality across our establishment.
This position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time options available to suit the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes, standards and presentation requirements
Maintaining impeccable food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage and preparation of ingredients
Managing kitchen operations and ensuring efficient workflow during service periods
Supervising and training junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback on techniques and standards
What we're looking for
Relevant culinary qualifications or formal training from a recognised hospitality institution
Proven experience working as a chef in a professional kitchen setting, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience
breakfast cook or a la carte chefs
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, hygiene practices and allergen management
Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure
Leadership capabilities and experience in training or mentoring kitchen staff




Creativity and passion for developing innovative menu items
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent quality standards
