About the Role
MLA Wollongong Branch (formerly Bis / Brambles) is seeking skilled and motivated Plant Mechanics to join our growing service team.
You'll support our largest customer, BlueScope, along with a growing South Coast customer base, working on a modern and varied fleet of materials handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure on site safety principles and standards are adhered to at all times
Perform preventative maintenance, srvice and & repairs to
OEM
standards
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults on forklifts and associated equipment to a professional standard
Utilise diagnostic software and technical systems to identify and resolve equipment issues
Support continuous improvement across the team

About You
Qualifications & Experience




Relevant Trade qualification (Mechanical, Aut Electrical, Diesel, Plant)
Experiencing servicing and repairing vehicles
Experience & knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems
Competent in fault finding, diagnostics, and performing quality repairs
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, hazard identification, and risk management
A Team focused approach with initiative and willingness to learn
Attributes

Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Reliable, professional, and takes pride in quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
