Younga Yoga Studio
Wollongong
Studio Operations & Member Experience Coordinator
Permanent Part-Time ****** hours per week) | Wollongong NSW | Onsite only
This isn't just another admin role.
At Younga Yoga Studio, you'll become the
operational heartbeat of our business.
You'll create exceptional member experiences, keep our systems running beautifully and play a key role in Younga's next phase of growth.
Most days you'll be welcoming members, responding to enquiries, managing bookings, tracking data and keeping everything running smoothly.
Other days you'll be improving systems, coordinating workshops, organising class covers, invoicing clients, experimenting with AI or supporting the rollout of a new course, event or campaign
Operations and member experience are the heart of this role.
Helping us grow is the opportunity.
Our previous team members have stayed in this role for 3–5 years, and after almost 20 years in business we're still excited about what's next.
We're looking for someone grounded, reliable and excited to build something over the long term.
We love people who bring ideas, not just tick boxes.
What you'll be doing:
Member Experience
Welcome every member with warmth and professionalism.
Respond to phone, email and in-person enquiries with warmth, professionalism and confidence.
Guide prospective members towards the right membership through genuine conversations
Build lasting relationships through thoughtful follow-up and retention.
Operations & Systems
Manage bookings, memberships and day-to-day administration through our CRM (Momence).
Maintain accurate reporting using Google Sheets.
Process payments and invoices and liaise with our book-keeper
Coordinate workshops, events, instructor schedules and class covers
Improve systems, checklists and workflows using technology and AI.
Keep the studio beautifully presented and reset the recovery room between bookings.
Member growth + retention
Follow up enquiries and trial members with warmth and consistency.
Look for ways to improve conversion, member experience and retention.
Guide prospective members towards becoming long-term members.
Identify opportunities to improve retention and customer journey.
Support marketing through newsletters, website updates and social media as required
You'll thrive here if you...
Genuinely enjoy helping people.
Naturally notice what needs doing before being asked.
Love creating order from chaos.
Have excellent attention to detail.
Enjoy improving systems.
Take ownership and have direct conversations.
Are confident with technology and AI.
Enjoy working in a small team.
Are stable, consistent and reliable.
Enjoy helping other people prioritise their health and wellbeing.
You'll probably have experience in administration, operations, customer service, hospitality, marketing or business support.
Essential:
You're confident using Google Sheets and learning current technology quickly.
Bonus:
Experience with a CRM (eg: Momence/MindBody) and tools such as Canva, ChatGPT, Claude, Asana and Meta Business Suite.
We're looking for someone who notices the little things, takes ownership and quietly leaves every system, every member interaction and every day a little better than they found it
What you'll get
Permanent part-time role ****** hours)
Unlimited yoga classes and sauna access.
Mentoring in operations, business, and marketing.
Well-developed systems and checklists so you're not reinventing the wheel.
Opportunities to grow into sales, marketing or business development over time.
This won't be a good fit if:
Following up a member who's gone quiet feels pushy to you.
You prefer routine over variety, no two days here are quite the same.
Small details or everyday jobs (a load of washing or resetting the recovery room) feel beneath you.
You're resistant to learning new technology, Ai, or improving the way things are done.
You're looking for a short-term role rather than somewhere to grow.
We're a small business.
We all pitch in, wear different hats and take pride in what we're building.
Typical work hours:
This role is typically worked across
four shifts per week
, usually
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
.
The week generally includes one to two administration-focused daytime shifts and two to three afternoon/evening member-facing shifts, when the studio is at its busiest.
We're happy to tailor the final roster for the right candidate.
