Job DescriptionHORTICULTURAL FARM WORKERS wanted for Commercial vegetable farms in Western SE Queensland areas including Nobby, Gatton, Stanthorpe & Inglewood regions.
Part time seasonal contract positions available.
Paid under Australian Horticultural award *****) *relevant wage level paid will reflect experience and competency of applicant.
Previous experience in horticulture preferred but not essential.
Examples of the Duties & Responsibilities that you may be asked to perform if assessed as competent: Planting, growing, picking & packing vegetables -ready for market.
Work independently or unsupervised.
Able to follow instructions and able to work safely & efficiently following workplace and OH&S; processes.
Reporting to farm managers.
You must be fit and healthy and willing to show up to work regularly.
This work is repetitive and very labour intensive.
You will bending, walking and carrying boxes, tools etc,
You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Hours may vary each day due to the seasonal nature of growing vegetables.
Centrelink, visa & police checks will be carried out.
You must be legally allowed to work in Australia.
You may be subject to random alcohol and drug testing at any time.
