Our client, Kingaroy Hospital, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with perioperative expertise to join their theatre team on a four-week contract from 3 August to 30 August ****.
Based in Kingaroy, Queensland, this role offers the chance to work across a range of surgical and procedural environments, from scrub and scout duties through to anaesthetics, recovery, and day surgery.
The position is remunerated at AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, with accommodation provided and travel reimbursement from Brisbane capped at $200 each way.

with accommodation and travel support Four-week contract with flexibility to support other services and participate in on-call roster as required Preferred Requirements Demonstrated perioperative nursing experience across theatre scrub, scout, anaesthetics, PACU, recovery, and day surgery or endoscopy settings Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation qualification Proven cannulation skills and experience working in rural and remote healthcare settings Willingness to be deployed to assist other services as operational needs require Availability to participate in the on-call roster Preferred Qualifications Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Formal perioperative nursing qualification or post-graduate study in theatre nursing Evidence of recent career development in advanced resuscitation techniques
