Job DescriptionApiary assistant- Farm hand (Bendigo Region) We have 8 positions available for dedicated and hard working general labourers to join our commercial bee-keeping team for the upcoming season.
Starting late August/early September.
short term role 6-9 months Monday to Friday No prior bee-keeping experience is required, this is an entry level position focused on physical labour, equipment maintenance and extraction support.
You will work very closely with our experienced bee-keepers, making it an excellent opportunity to learn the industry from the ground up.
Key responsibilities: Equipment preparation, yard maintenance, honey extraction, field support assisting with lifting and moving hives.
Requirements: Physical fitness and agility to meet the requirements of the role,



willing to undertake physically demanding and repetitive work involving close contact with bees.
Non-allergic to bee stings.
Reliable, motivated, punctual and able to follow instructions and quickly learn and apply recent processes.
Capable of working in a team environment .
Afternoon/Evening and some weekend work may be required as needed.

Successful candidates will be paid an hourly rate, in accordance with the pastoral award with an average but not limited to 38 hours per week.
