About the RoleAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Site Manager to join our growing team.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
As the senior leader on site, you will coordinate trades, subcontractors and suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
Your leadership will foster a positive site culture focused on teamwork, safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of construction sites from mobilisation through to practical completion.
Lead, supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour.
Work closely with the Project Manager to achieve programme, budget and quality objectives.
Drive project delivery while identifying opportunities to improve productivity and efficiencies.
Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, Building Codes and contractual requirements.
Monitor construction programmes and proactively manage project risks and delays.
Coordinate procurement, deliveries and site logistics.
Conduct site inspections and quality assurance throughout each stage of construction.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by leading toolbox meetings, site inductions, SWMS/JSA reviews and ongoing compliance activities.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
Mentor Site Supervisors, Leading Hands and apprentices while fostering a collaborative team workplace.
Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, reports and project records.
Assist with project planning, programming and resource allocation.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager, Senior Site Supervisor or similar role within the Australian construction industry.
Trade qualification (Carpentry preferred) and/or tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or Building.
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering commercial construction, refurbishment or government projects.
Strong understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and project delivery.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades across complex live environments.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Comprehensive understanding of WHS legislation and site compliance requirements.
Current White Card and unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
Desirable qualifications include:
First Aid Certificate

What We Offer
Competitive salary package from $110,000 - $130,000 (negotiable based on experience).
