About the Role: Medirecruit is currently seeking an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join a leading tertiary health service located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing surgical team within a busy coastal referral hospital providing comprehensive maxillofacial, trauma, and head & neck services to a growing and diverse population.
Key Responsibilities: The successful applicant will contribute across a broad respiratory medicine service with a particular focus on: Management of facial trauma and complex reconstructive cases Oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures across a broad caseload Head and neck pathology assessment and surgical management Orthognathic and dentoalveolar surgery Participation in trauma, ENT, plastics, and oncology multidisciplinary teams Teaching, supervision, and clinical leadership within a tertiary setting The role offers strong procedural exposure and the opportunity to contribute to service development within a high-demand surgical setting.

About You:



Fellowship or equivalent specialist qualification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Broad experience across OMFS, including trauma and reconstruction Strong technical surgical skills and clinical judgement Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities Eligibility for specialist registration in Australia (or ability to obtain) International Applicants Welcome:
