Youth Focus is looking for a Clinical Excellence Lead to join our dynamic Burswood team located on Whadjuk Noongar country.

About the RoleThis role will support continuous improvement, clinical governance, quality, and risk management across Youth Focus services, ensuring alignment with best-practice and legislative requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support service improvement, clinical excellence and organisational objectives
Deliver expert clinical advice, consultation, supervision, and support to clinical leaders and staff, to ensure high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes for young people and families
Ensure compliance with legislative, contractual, and accreditation requirements through the development, review, and implementation of policies, procedures, frameworks, and quality systems
Lead quality improvement projects, incident, complaint, and feedback management processes
Design and deliver resources, and learning opportunities that strengthen staff capability, and promote a culture of safety and accountability
About YouTo be considered for this position, applicants will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications (Social Work, Psychology, OT, Mental Health Nursing) and current full registration/membership with a professional body (AASW or AHPRA)
Minimum five years' experience applying clinical practice within the mental health sector, with demonstrated expertise working in complex and dynamic service environments
Advanced clinical skills in assessment, case formulation, and clinical decision-making,
underpinned by evidence-based practice and a strong understanding of youth mental health
Experience responding to clinical incidents and mitigating risk, including interventions to determine and manage risk
Demonstrate experience leading clinical governance, quality improvement, compliance, and risk management projects and initiatives
Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including partnering, consulting, and influencing outcomes
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to analyse data and prepare high-quality reports and documentation
Ability to work outside standard business hours when required
