The key duties of the position include:The Role
As a key member of the team, you will:
Develop timely, evidence-based policy advice for senior executives and Ministers on complex and high-profile issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Contribute to consultation and engagement activities to inform policy development and support effective implementation.
Investigate complex technical matters and translate them into clear, concise and practical advice for a range of audiences including Ministerial and Departmental correspondence.
Contribute to the development of policy reforms, briefing materials, submissions and strategic communications.
Foster a collaborative team culture and support colleagues to strengthen their policy, engagement and communication capabilities.

You will be joining the People Policy and Employment Conditions branch.
People Policy and Employment Conditions makes and implements policies on pay and employment conditions for Australian Defence Force (ADF) members and Australian Public Service (APS) employees including ADF superannuation.

EligibilitySecurity Clearance
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Baseline Vetting" level.
