About the Opportunity
We are seeking caring, reliable and motivated Casual Aged & Disability Support Workers to join our team across the East Arnhem region.
In this rewarding role, you will provide flexible, person-centred support to clients in their homes, community settings and group activities, helping them maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide practical assistance and individualised support to older people and people living with disability
Support clients to participate in community, social and recreational activities
Deliver services in home, community and centre-based settings
Promote independence, choice, dignity and wellbeing
Work collaboratively with families, carers and community stakeholders
Maintain accurate client documentation and records
Contribute to a safe, respectful and culturally responsive service setting.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:




A genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable older people and people with disability
Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services or a related qualification, or willingness to obtain
Experience working in aged care, disability support, community services or a similar field (highly desirable)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Resilience, flexibility and sound judgement
A commitment to culturally secure and inclusive practice
