About the RoleReporting to the Workshop Manager,



you will be part of a skilled team of Diesel Mechanics responsible for the professional maintenance and repair of trucks, trailers and equipment across our general freight, container and tanker fleet.
Fast paced, varied and rewarding work with no two days the same.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesRepairs, servicing and testing of company vehicles, trailers and equipment as per the company service schedule.
Diagnostic and preventative maintenance.
Attend breakdowns where required.
Assist the Workshop Manager and fellow team members.
Demonstrate a willingness to carry out general repairs within the depot and wash bays.
What We Are Looking ForTrade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (essential).
Car licence as a minimum, heavy vehicle licence advantageous.
Proven experience diagnosing and repairing general mechanical faults.
Previous gearbox, general repairs and servicing experience.
Cummins or adequate diesel engine experience.
Understanding of NHVAS requirements, workshop compliance and Australian Truck Safety Standards.
Roadside experience.
Ability to meet strict deadlines.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Motivated and team orientated.
Medically fit and prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screening.
