The role focuses on enhancing quality of life, promoting dignity, reducing anxiety and isolation, and supporting emotional wellbeing for patients and their families.About The OpportunityThe therapist works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver person-centred care tailored to each patient's interests, abilities, cultural background, and stage of illness.In this role, you will Assess patients' recreational, emotional, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs, Develop individualized therapeutic activity programs aligned with patient goals and care plans, Adapt activities to suit changing physical and cognitive abilities, Support patients experiencing grief, anxiety, loneliness, or reduced independence, Encourage family involvement in therapeutic and meaningful engagement activities, maintain accurate documentation, assessments, progress notes, and care plans, collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, volunteers, pastoral care, and medical staff.This is an opportunity to form ongoing, meaningful relationships with clients and families while being fully supported by a team renowned for its expertise, kindness, and collaborative culture.For more information about this role, please view the Position Description About You You can demonstrate experience in implementing diversional therapy with palliative care patients,
