About the roleProvide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within a specialised cardiothoracic, transplant and respiratory unit, including a 6-bed High Dependency Unit and 22-bed inpatient ward.Deliver clinical care to patients requiring complex cardiac and respiratory management, including cardiothoracic surgery, heart and lung transplantation, pulmonary hypertension and sleep disorder support.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Consultants and Clinical Nurse Educators, to ensure safe, effective and compassionate care delivery.Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including cardiothoracic, heart and lung transplant, and interventional cardiology postgraduate education programs.Contribute to a supportive and innovative healthcare environment that values excellence, integrity, diversity and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.About youCurrently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)



with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation AgencyMinimum 12 months acute hospital nursing experience (Cardiothoracic experience desirable)Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team using effective communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environmentDemonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practiceWhy work at St Vincent's?
