About the rolePerformance of laboratory testing operations in an accurate, reliable and timely fashionMaintain all equipment and supplies in the section/laboratoryEnsure the clinicians are promptly informed of critical and urgent resultsEnsure the quality and accuracy of their resultsPerform tasks to ensure maintenance of Quality SystemAbout youTertiary qualifications in a relevant scientific/technical discipline, with demonstrated experience in method development and validation and hands-on expertise in key analytical platforms (HPLC-UV, UPLC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS).
Proven experience in delivery of pathology laboratory services, including proficiency with Laboratory Information Systems, patient systems, quality control systems, and relevant data/analysis software (e.g. Microsoft Office).
Robust understanding of regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements in a pathology setting, including work health and safety and privacy obligations.Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills,



with the ability to manage competing priorities, investigate complex issues, and deliver accurate results within strict timeframes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clinical and laboratory stakeholders, prepare technical reports, interpret and present scientific data, and contribute positively to a team environment aligned with organisational values.
