The team is dedicated, hardworking, and places patients and families at the centre of all aspects of care.
The successful applicant will work closely with medical staff and allied health professionals and will be supported by a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2).
About the RoleThe Registered Nurse will contribute to the delivery of comprehensive paediatric immunology services, including:Assisting with paediatric food challengesSupporting outpatient clinicsProviding patient and family educationPerforming and assisting with skin prick testingWorking collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure secure and effective careThis role offers the opportunity to develop specialised skills in allergy and immunology nursing within a tertiary paediatric setting.About YouTo be successful in this role you will:Be a Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)Demonstrate a keen interest in Allergy and Immunology nursingHave strong communication and interpersonal skills,
with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and the healthcare teamBe motivated, hardworking, and adaptable, with a willingness to learnDemonstrate the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamShow a commitment to professional development and a desire to build a career in Immunology nursingPrevious experience in paediatrics, allergy, or immunology is desirable but not essential, as education and support will be provided.Why join us?
