We are seeking an outstanding and passionate Mathematics educator to join our high-performing teaching team in a full-time, maximum-term position commencing in Term 1, ****.

The successful candidate will work alongside expert educators who are committed to inspiring intellectual curiosity, fostering a love of learning and empowering students to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across Years 7-12, aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and Year 11 and Year 12 WACE courses, including Mathematics Methods
Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet students' needs and course objectives, and foster a positive and inclusive academically focused learning environment
Develop diverse and valid assessments to track student progress, providing timely feedback and reporting to parents and leadership
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Undertake the responsibilities of a Homeroom Teacher, actively supporting student wellbeing and engagement, while contributing to the School's co-curricular program
A commitment to ongoing professional learning and continuous improvement
Essential Criteria
A degree in Mathematics or a closely related field
Recognised teaching qualifications
Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics Methods
Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA
Right to work in Australia
Strong communication and classroom management skills, with a commitment to improving student understanding and outcomes in Mathematics
Desirable
Experience teaching Specialist Mathematics
