About the roleProviding senior nursing experience to the GLAD (GP Liaison in Alcohol and Other Drugs) Project.Demonstrate advanced evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment knowledge in the provision of client care, as well as advanced strategic planning and management for local services.The GLAD project aims to support better collaboration between specialist Drug and Alcohol Services (DAS) and General Practice within the Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN)Improving care for individuals with drug and alcohol issues leading to better client experience and health outcomes.
Provides care coordination for clients with Drug and Alcohol, develops care plans in consultation with key internal/external parties, focusing on harm reduction principlesAbout youCurrently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation AgencyAt least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.Approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which he/she/they are appointed or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by St Vincent's Hospital, SydneyDemonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills,
