The Position
Asphaltech are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator (5.5 T) to join the civil team and work on various local government projects throughout the Perth Metro area.
This is a full time permanent position with guaranteed hours and overtime during busy periods.
You will be required to start and finish at the work site, so reliable transport is essential.
To be successful in this position you should have:
Essential:
Experience working in a similar position and operating a 5.5 T excavator.
Experience working around live services.
A strong understanding of Civil Construction principles (drainage, roadworks, pipework).
Be able to complete manual labour when required.
Construction Induction Card – White Card.
Excavator ticket




Current Heavy Ridged Drivers Licence
Have a positive attitude and excellent time keeping.
Strong communication skills.
Be able to work in a safe and effective manner.
Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Have access to reliable transport.
Desirable:
Current Heavy Combination Drivers Licence or be able to complete the training.
Secure Cargo and Load and Unload Goods Cargo.
Load and Unload Plant.
Front End Loader and Roller ticket.
First Aid with CPR
