Our Direct Care Workers provide high-quality, person-centred support across ourDisability and Aged Care services.
Depending on the needs of the people you support, you may work in their homes, in-centre programs or within the community.
Positions are available in both locations.

About the role
As a Direct Care Worker, you will:
Provide respectful and practical support based on each client's individual care plan
Assist with personal care, daily living activities and community participation
Support clients with different needs, preferences and levels of independence
Communicate effectively with clients, families, carers, supervisors and other team members
Complete progress notes, reports and other required documentation accurately and on time
Record services provided using CareLink and other UCL systems
Work safely and in accordance with UCL policies, procedures and care requirements




Contribute positively to a supportive and respectful team environment
The current role profiles include providing in-home and in-centre services, supporting clients with varying needs, completing required reports and accurately recording services in CareLink.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
A caring, patient and respectful approach
Valuable communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
The ability to provide personal care and practical assistance with limited supervision
Good organisation and basic written documentation skills
Confidence using Microsoft 365, mobile devices and client management systems
An understanding of person-centred support within Disability or Aged Care services
ACertificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Ageing, Community Services or a similar qualificationwould be highly regarded.
Previous experience inDisability or Aged Care services, and experience usingCareLink, would also be an advantage.
The current role profiles list a relevant Certificate III as preferable and CareLink experience as desirable.
Essential requirements
The successful applicants will need:
A current Class C NSW driver's licence
Access to a registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
Access to a mobile phone
A current First Aid Certificate
A satisfactory Police Check
A Working with Children Check
An NDIS Worker Screening Check
