You'll be working on a near‐new CAT fleet moving 3M+ tonnes annually, plus a crushing plant processing up to 10,000 tonnes per day – this is big‐scale mining at its best.
Responsibilities
Work a family‐friendly 7/7 roster (12‐hour shifts)
Perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on underground plant
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or component replacements
Keep equipment compliant with site and safety standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment
Qualifications
Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter / Mechanic
Experience on underground mining equipment (Sandvik preferred)
Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding skills
Valid manual driver's licence
First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
