We are partnering with a growing financial services organisation seeking a proactive and analytical HR Advisor to join their People Operations team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the genuine potential to extend or become permanent.
This role offers a blend of HR advisory, people operations, reporting and workforce analytics.
It is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, working with HR systems and using data to support business decision-making.
About the Role
Reporting to a knowledgeable and supportive leader, you will play a key role in supporting HR operations, maintaining data integrity, delivering workforce reporting and contributing to ongoing HR technology and process improvement initiatives.
This is broader than a traditional HR Advisor role and will suit someone who combines strong HR operational knowledge with a genuine interest in systems, reporting and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HR advisory and operational support across the employee lifecycle
Produce regular and ad hoc people reporting and workforce analytics
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR data governance standards are met
Manage HRIS data updates and employee information changes
Act as a first point of contact for HR systems and reporting enquiries
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI
Participate in HR system enhancements, upgrades and implementation projects
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and AI-enabled solutions

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, HR Advisory or Workforce Analytics environments
Solid HR systems and HRIS administration experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and data analysis
Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting and dashboard tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Curiosity, initiative and a continuous improvement mindset
Exposure to automation, AI-enabled reporting tools or process improvement initiatives will be highly regarded
