About Our Client
BMA is Australia's largest producer of seaborne metallurgical coal, operating several world-class mines throughout the Bowen Basin.
Goonyella Mine is a well-established operation recognised for its commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
What You Will Be Doing
Conducting coal sampling and testing within the washplant laboratory
Preparing samples and performing quality control analysis
Recording and reporting laboratory results accurately
Maintaining laboratory equipment and housekeeping standards
Following site safety procedures and laboratory protocols
Supporting CHPP operations through timely testing and reporting
What You Will Need
Previous experience in a laboratory environment, preferably within mining or coal processing
Understanding of coal sampling and testing procedures
Strong attention to detail and data recording skills




Ability to work across rotating day and night shifts
Current Standard 11 (preferred)
Current Coal Board Medical (preferred)
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Current driver's licence and full Australian working rights
