Your new role:
As a Pharmacy Student, you'll work under the supervision of experienced pharmacists to support the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services across Metro South Health. This casual opportunity offers practical workplace experience that complements your university studies while contributing to safe, patient-centred care.
Assist pharmacists in delivering patient care through medication management, patient education and a range of supervised clinical support activities.
Support medication supply processes, including dispensing and imprest distribution, while developing your clinical and professional skills in a hospital environment.
Collaborate with pharmacists and the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective and compassionate care, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
About you:
We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated pharmacy students who are eager to develop their clinical skills and make a positive contribution to patient care.
Currently enrolled in a recognised Australian pharmacy degree that leads to eligibility for provisional registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
A strong commitment to delivering safe, patient-centred care with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative team player who is organised, adaptable and keen to learn in a dynamic hospital environment.

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII)
is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by ****.
