O'Brien® Glass is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Brisbane Commercial (Heavy Vehicles) team as anApprentice Windscreen Fitterlocated in Wakerley(soon relocating to Acacia Ridge). This is a hands‐on role where you'll earn while you learn, gain a nationally recognised qualification, and build a long‐term career in the Automotive Glass industry.
About the Role
As an Apprentice Windscreen Fitter, you will:
Complete theO'Brien® Cert III in Automotive Glazingthrough our Auto Technician Skills Development Program
Learn to repair and replace glass on all types of motor vehicles to Australian standards
Perform windscreen re‐calibrations forAdvanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
Carry out glass repairs on heavy vehicles (Bus and Trucks)
Deliver exceptional customer service
Work professionally, safely and efficiently as part of a supportive team
This ison‐the‐job learningwith strong support from experienced Technicians and our In-House Technical Trainers.
What We're Looking For
Automotive industry experience (highly regarded)
Strong mechanical aptitude andconfidence using hand tools
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent work ethic and reliability
Comfortable engaging with customers and promoting company products
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Must be able to drive both Automatic and Manual vehicles
Strong organisational and time‐management skills
Commitment to personal development and achieving results
