We are looking for a practical and capable Pack & Wrap Supervisor to lead the team responsible for preparing our cheeses for sale.
This is an important hands-on leadership role combining people management, food safety, quality, planning and day-to-day production work.
About the role

Completing and uploading Pack & Wrap assemblies into Unleashed, ensuring finished quantities, component usage, batch information and wastage are recorded accurately and promptly

Investigating assembly or stock discrepancies and working with production and dispatch to maintain accurate inventory records
Monitoring packaging materials, labels, ingredients and consumables
Coordinating daily cleaning and maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
Identifying practical opportunities to improve efficiency and product presentation
Communicating closely with production and dispatch to keep products moving smoothly
Participating in managers' meetings and providing regular operational updates
About you
You will be an organised, approachable leader who is comfortable working alongside the team while also maintaining standards and accountability.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous supervisory, team-leader or leading-hand experience in food, dairy, beverage, FMCG or another quality-controlled production environment
A sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, HACCP and traceability
The ability to plan work, set priorities and respond calmly when schedules change
Confidence using computerised inventory or manufacturing systems; experience with Unleashed is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Confidence training employees and providing clear, constructive feedback
Solid attention to detail and pride in product quality and presentation
Good record-keeping and basic computer skills

A practical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
A current driver's licence
The ability to perform hands-on production and packaging work
Experience working with cheese is welcome but is not essential.
We can teach our products and processes; we are primarily looking for someone who can lead people, organise work and uphold high food-safety and quality standards.
Food Safety and HACCP qualifications are preferred.
Relevant training may be provided to the right candidate.
