About the role
We are looking for two Site Supervisor's (on the tools) at ASCOT GROUP Melbourne, Victoria, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects in our Aged Care and Health division.
These are full-time positions requiring your hands‐on expertise, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes to ensure the seamless delivery of high‐quality projects.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams to meet project timelines and quality standards
Working on the tools as a carpenter
Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on‐site
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimise construction processes
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project
Travel will be across Greater Melbourne and occasional regional work.
What we're looking for
Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
Industry White Card (former Red Card acceptable)
Maintain a full Victorian (or recognised equivalent) Driver's License
Have access to a full kit of reliable trade appropriate tools inclusive of vehicle (which can carry materials)
Extensive carpentry or other equivalent trade experience
Demonstrated experience supervising/managing construction projects, including overseeing multiple trades, across multiple sites simultaneously
Strong understanding of the end to end to build process
Ability to prioritise and schedule work, manage a diary and work to tight timeframes
Strong understanding of OHS site requirements
Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to achieve excellent work quality
