Position: Senior Educator
Location: Timboon and Mortlake, Victoria
Salary: $73,150 to $77,000 per annum (plus WRP), dependent on experience and qualifications
Employment type: Full time
Early Childhood Education is seeking an experienced Senior Educator to join our team across our Timboon and Mortlake centres in regional Victoria.
This role carries room leadership responsibilities and works closely with our centre Directors to deliver a high quality, play based program.
Key responsibilities
Lead a room program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
Mentor and support junior educators within the room
Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and the wider team
Document children's learning through observations, assessments and planning
Maintain compliance with the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations




Work across both Timboon and Mortlake to support consistent practice across both centres
Essential requirements
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher qualification)
Minimum one year of relevant work experience
Current Working with Children Check
Sound understanding of early childhood development and current educational practice
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Full working rights in Australia
Flexibility to work across both Timboon and Mortlake locations
Availability across the full operating week (mornings and afternoons, Monday to Sunday, rostered)
