About The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader - Schools, the Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers within COS's Education segment.
This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and delivering tailored solutions that support customer needs.
Working as part of a collaborative Inside Sales team, the position plays a key role in driving customer retention, revenue growth, and exceptional service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing Education customers
Achieve sales, revenue and gross profit targets across an assigned customer portfolio
Conduct proactive outbound sales activity to strengthen customer engagement and identify growth opportunities
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular account management activities
Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements and provide tailored product and service solutions
Maintain a strong knowledge of COS products and services to deliver value-driven recommendations
Contribute to sales retention and growth objectives within the Education segment
Maintain accurate customer records and activity within CRM systems
Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, WH&S; and environmental requirements
About You
Previous experience in sales, account management or customer relationship management role
Strong ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships
Proven capability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Commercially focused with the ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Experience within the Education sector will be highly regarded
