The Position
This position plays a key role in providing legal guidance and support to clients in matters related to real estate transactions including off the plan developments.
Manage a diverse portfolio of transactions within the property team.
Execute conveyancing tasks, ensuring the smooth transfer of property ownership.
Address property disputes by conducting thorough research, analysis, and providing effective resolutions.
Provide general advice on property-related matters to clients.
Collaborate with clients ranging from individual investors and first home buyers to medium and large-scale property developers.
Navigate and interpret property laws and regulations across all states in Australia.
Stay informed about industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in property and commercial law.
Demonstrate solid communication skills in liaising with clients,
colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and organised documentation for all transactions and cases.
Provide advice on leasing matters, including retail, office, commercial, and industrial properties.
Advise clients on mortgage and loan facilities related to property transactions.
Provide advices on property development, planning, and structuring, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide advice on caveats and real property security, ensuring legal protection for clients' interests.
Assist in resolving property disputes, using a combination of legal research, negotiation, and dispute resolution strategies.
Collaborate with the team to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the property and commercial department.
Qualifications / Requirements
Qualified solicitor with a valid licence to practice in NSW.
Proven experience in dealing with property transactions and general conveyancing.
Experience using PEXA.
Ability to meet strict timeframes and deadlines.
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, land law, and property regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Advantageous:
Experience with conveyances in other states across Australia.
