Senior Assistant Early Childhood Educator

Little + Co Early Learning is seeking an experienced Senior Early Childhood Educator to work with our amazing team at our service situated at 183 Thynne Road, Morningside, Queensland ****.
Our studios run above ratio, our management team are out of ratio and we pride ourselves on our small, independent, family owned and operated service and a professional and stable environment, where children and our team are prioritised.
We offer:
a salary of $80,000 - $85,000 per annum plus superannuation and laundry allowance;
a stable, friendly, professional team;
progressive, well resourced educational program including frequent excursions, and specialist educators for music, bush kindy and our intergenerational kindergarten program;
well above award programming time;
continuous training and mentoring; and
proximity to public transport.
The role is full time (38 hours per week).
Applicants must be available 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will work with their co-educators in:
providing outstanding education and care to the children in our service;
assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities;
preparing and conducting activities for children;
supervising the daily routine of children;
supervising children in recreational activities; and
managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development.
Your skills and qualifications must include:
a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care;
a minimum of 1 years' experience as an Early Childhood Educator;
a passion for working with children;
a commitment to child safety, to respecting and valuing children, to using culturally safe practices and to understand or be willing to learn about and support children's development needs;
the desire to work harmoniously as part of a collaborative team;
a current Working with Children Check;
evidence of completion of all current relevant modules of the Geccko child safety training program;
a robust understanding of child safety, supervision and safeguarding practices;
excellent verbal and written communication skills;
strong computer and technology skills; and
an interest and willingness to participate in excursions (these are run frequently on foot from our service to a variety of local community facilities).
