We are looking for a Business Readiness Engineer to join the owner's team on one of the largest tailings projects in Australia, based in Central NSW.
The role is Brisbane office based, Monday to Friday, with periodic travel to site.
It is available for an immediate start and suits someone ready to take the next step in their career as a consultant.
The Role
You report to the Business Readiness Lead and work as their junior second in charge across the operations readiness effort on a major tailings project.
You take direction and rough inputs and turn them into finished, clear deliverables, and you keep the workstream organised so it stays on track.
Day to day you produce the reports,



presentations and spreadsheets that keep the readiness effort moving.
You build and maintain trackers and dashboards that show progress against the readiness plan, and you pull together status updates and reporting packs for the Business Readiness Lead.
You track actions across the team and follow them up, prepare agendas, capture minutes and circulate outcomes, and you work with subject matter experts, site operations and project staff to gather and confirm information.
You are based in the Brisbane office Monday to Friday, with periodic travel to site in Central NSW as the work requires.
All site travel, accommodation and associated expenses are fully covered.
This is an immediate start for the right person.
To Be Considered You Must Meet the Following Criteria
A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline.
Around five years of experience since university, ideally including time in consulting or professional services.
Strong document production skills in Word, including formatting to templates and house style.
Advanced PowerPoint skills for building clear, professional presentations.
Advanced Excel skills for building trackers, models and dashboards.




Sound written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to take broad direction and turn it into finished deliverables with limited supervision.
Well organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks at once.
Comfortable working with subject matter experts and site personnel across technical topics.
Experience coordinating actions and reporting across a team or project.
Willingness to travel to site in Central NSW as required.
Current Australian drivers licence and working rights in Australia.
