About The Role:
Reporting to theOperational Excellence Manager, this role provides critical technical support across ourproduction and assembly operations.
You will play a key role in:
Supporting tooling and die casting performance
Contributing to continuous improvement and automation initiatives
This is ahands-on, workshop-based rolesuited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and delivering practical engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and overhaul dies casting
Inspect tooling for wear, defects, and performance issues
Perform machining, polishing, fitting, and modification work
Support die life management and tooling optimisation
Production & Maintenance Support
Provide day-to-day technical support to production teams
Diagnose and repair machinery breakdowns
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance




Minimise downtime and maintain production targets
Tooling, Jigs & Fixtures
Manufacture, modify, and maintain tooling and production aids
Support new product introduction and assembly setups
Improve workholding and tooling methods
Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity
Support automation initiatives and process improvements
Work with engineering on equipment upgrades and modifications
Workshop Support
Operate workshop machinery safely and effectively
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts
About You:
Experience in amanufacturing or industrial environment
Strongmechanical troubleshooting and fabrication skills
Experience withtooling, dies, or casting equipment(highly regarded)
Ability to read and interprettechnical drawings and maintenance reports
Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and in a team
