Cram is looking for motivated and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join the team.

About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you'll support people withcomplex disabilities to build their independence, achieve their goals and be part of their community in ways that matter to them.
You'll provide supportacross a range of settings, including:
In-home support
Community participation
Clinical support environments
Your work will be guided by the people Cram supports – where choice, voice and live experience play a key role in everything we do.
Our permanent rosters operate on a4-week rotating schedule, including a variety of shift types:
Day shifts
Afternoon shifts
Sleepovers
Active nights
Weekends

Highly Regarded (but not essential)
A qualification in Disability or a related field is desirable but not essential.
Experience inhigh intensity supportsincluding:
Complex bowel care
Enteral nutrition
Gastrostomy care
Key Responsibilities
Support participants withdaily living activitiesto promote independence and skill development
Deliverpersonal carein a respectful and dignified way
Followindividualised support planstailored to each participant
Maintain asafe, clean and supportive environment, aligned with WHS standards
Build strong relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders
Accurately complete documentation and reporting, including incident reporting

Essential Requirements
Availability across a24/7 rotating rosterincluding sleepovers and active nights
Relevant experience in disability support or transferable skills
A strong commitment toperson centred support
Current AustralianDriver's Licence
ValidWorking with Children CheckandNDIS Worker Screening Check
Minimum2 doses of COVID-19 vaccination
This role involvesshift work and manual handlingand may require aFit for Work assessmentduring recruitment.
