FITTER MACHINIST - $45PH
We have a great opportunity for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join a well-established mechanical workshop.
This is a permanent workshop-based role offering consistent Monday to Friday hours and varied hands-on fitting, machining and repair work.
WHAT'S ON OFFER:
$45ph + super
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Limited overtime available
100% workshop-based role

THE ROLE:
Mechanical repairs, servicing and overhauls
Rebuild and repair mechanical components and assemblies
Manual lathe machining
Energetic balancing of rotating components
Welding and general fabrication
Inspection and fault finding of mechanical components
Maintain high quality and safety standards
ABOUT YOU:
Strong mechanical fitting and machining experience
Welding experience
Experience with rotating equipment or mechanical repairs highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable with a strong commitment to safety
