CN - Mount Isa - Child & Youth Mental Health
Mount Isa Hospital's Child and Youth Community Mental Health Service is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to join their team on a contract basis until 16 September ****.
This role is open to Clinical Nurses (Nurse Grade 6) or Allied Health professionals (Psychologists, Social Workers, or Occupational Therapists at HP3 level).
Based in Mount Isa, Queensland, the position offers a salary of AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, with Monday to Friday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing you to make a real difference in the lives of young people in the community.
Work with children and young people in a community-based mental health setting
AUD***** to AUD***** per hour, contract until 16 September ****
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, based in Mount Isa, QLD
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated experience working in child and youth mental health services




Prior experience working within Queensland Health settings
Proficiency with CIMHA (Queensland Health's mental health clinical information system)
Current professional registration appropriate to your discipline (nursing, psychology, social work, or occupational therapy)
Solid communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related discipline
Current registration with the relevant professional body (AHPRA for nurses and allied health professionals)
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated specialist training in child and youth mental health
