As our Learning Support Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
Working across Years 6 to 12 within our Secondary Division, you will collaborate closely with students, teachers, families, school leadership and external specialists.

As Learning Support Teacher, you will coordinate and support the delivery of Learning Support across the Secondary Division.
You will work directly with students while also empowering teachers to develop inclusive and differentiated practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the support and management of students with diverse learning needs, including students with disabilities and learning difficulties.
Working closely with students, families, teachers, school leadership and external specialists to develop appropriate support strategies.
Providing advice and regular updates to the Principal and Secondary leadership team on Learning Support matters.
Supporting teachers in analysing student learning progress through classroom observations, consultations and individualised advice.
Identifying students with additional learning needs and promoting effective differentiated and evidence-based teaching strategies.
Supporting the development and management of Individualised Plans and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained.
Administering and interpreting standardised and diagnostic assessments to inform individual learning plans and recommendations.
Providing advice and resources to teachers to support students' literacy, numeracy and broader learning needs.
Leading and facilitating professional learning sessions for staff on Learning Support and inclusive teaching practices.
Coordinating relevant Learning Support documentation and ensuring compliance with applicable French and Australian requirements, including NCCD requirements.
Supporting families with the documentation required to recognise and support disability and additional learning needs, including in connection with relevant French Embassy services.
Participating in student support meetings and recommending appropriate educational resources, tools and strategies.
Managing the Learning Support budget and ensuring resources are used effectively.
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive student records and documentation.
Contributing to a positive, inclusive and collaborative school culture.
You will also be expected to participate in ongoing professional learning, the professional review process and the wider life of the LCS community.
This is an Ongoing, Full-time contract starting ASAP.Annual full time base between a minimum of $****** AUD and a maximum of $******* AUD, depending on qualifications and experience.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Learning Support professional who is committed to inclusive education and student success.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience in a Learning Support or specialist education role, ideally within a secondary school environment.
Excellent communication skills inboth French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
A solid understanding of contemporary teaching and learning practices, particularly approaches to differentiation and inclusive education.
