Experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner – Inner Eastern Melbourne
Location:Burwood East
Employment Type:Full time or Part time (4 days per week)
Salary:$77,200 – $110,143 per annum (inclusive of annual leave loading) + superannuation + vehicle options + mobile + laptop + options to boost salary up to $10,000

About The Role
We are looking for experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to provide life‐changing therapy to NDIS participants.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, no two days will be the same.
If you were here last week, these are some of the things you may have done:
Working in the social model means you'll work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres
Utilizing assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding
Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends)




Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function‐based strategies, utilising positive behaviour support framework
Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges
Attending weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs
Tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor
Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications & Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Master or Graduate Diploma) in one of the following disciplines and required registration:
Occupational Therapist – AHPRA registration
Speech Pathologist – SPA registration
Social Worker – AASW membership
Mental Health Nurse – AHPRA registration
Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field – BSPA membership
Be deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (letter required)
Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
Positive and flexible approach to work




Strong communication skills and a team player
Commitment to personal and professional growth
Valid Australian driver's licence
NDIS Workers Screening Check
Working with Children Check
